Am one of those hapless souls smitten by the wanderlust. Travel to me is a craving, a longing, hard to resist; a tryst with nature, an excuse to fall in love with Her all over again. I would choose an arduous trek to a lethargic resort trip, any day. Each adventure has gifted me a treasure trove of memories that I wouldn’t trade for any billion. The people, the places, and the unique experiences get etched in the heart and soul. The efficient Mumbai cabbie Rakesh Bhaiya, the friendly Panchgani street dog, the not so straight Braemore estate manager, the adventurous Nelliyampathi Jeep driver, the nimble Yelagiri trek guide Krishna, the dip in the jungle stream at Shenduruney Wildlife Sanctuary and much more, become immortalized in the frame of memory. Each crusade throws open a kaleidoscope of life, ever so different from the previous, urging you to succumb to the lust, yet another time! You will find a random compilation of my travel anecdotes under Travelogue.

Nature has been a passion, an obsession, since childhood. Photography, for me, is a modest attempt to capture and savour the exhilarating beauty of Her undulating landscapes and the infinite variety of Her flora and fauna. Epics, Mythology and Festivals form an integral part of the rich Indian heritage. I have made an attempt to portray these in a collection of photographs compiled under the category Photography.

I absolutely, completely and totally love writing. Poetry traverses my literary adventures.

Memoir lists nostalgic posts.

Publications lists my work that has been published elsewhere.

The page Anthologies lists the details of the anthologies that I have contributed to.

Am just an amateur, a novice and sure have a long way to go. But the sheer bliss of this journey is what matters the most to me !

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. – Mark Twain
